  1. 240 grams Cabbage
  2. 10 Green onions
  3. 2 Eggs
  4. 2 tbsp Red pickled ginger
  5. 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  6. 200 ml ★Store-bought okonomiyaki powder
  7. 200 ml ★Water
  8. 10 grams ★Butter
  9. 2 tbsp ★Milk
  10. 150 grams Pork
  11. 1 apply before serving Okonomiyaki sauce
  12. 1 apply before serving Mayonnaise
  13. 1 apply before serving Bonito flakes

Instructions to make Okonomiyaki

  1. For the okonomiyaki powder: Check the back of the packaging and use water and powder at a 1:1 ratio.
  2. Cut the cabbage into strips, cut the onions and ginger into small pieces then add all of it into a bowl along with the eggs and mayonnaise.
  3. Mix all the ★ marked ingredients together. Microwave the butter.
  4. Mix the ingredients from Steps 2 and 3 together.
  5. Start grilling the batter, making sure to only use half of the batter as the recipe makes two.
  6. Lightly coat the pan with oil. Grill on low to medium heat for 3 minutes. Place the pork on top of the okonomiyaki while grilling.
  7. After 3 minutes, grab the pan handle and do your best to flip the okonomiyaki over.
  8. Flipping it puts the pork on the bottom. While the heat is low to medium heat, cover the pan with a lid and grill for 9 minutes.
  9. Now it's done! Just top it with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise and bonito flakes and eat.
